Training
At Allegiance Combat & Fitness Centre we have a huge variety of classes that are guaranteed to keep you motivated and excited about improving and maintaining your lifestyle. When you train with us you know you will instructed by trainers that have extensive experience in their chosen discipline. This means you will be taught safely and learn techniques correctly.
Kickboxing & Muay Thai – A class starts with a warm up and a stretch. After this you will be partnered up with someone your own level a do a series of easy to learn Kickboxing & boxing drills with and with out focus mitts and Thai pads. Every student is encouraged to participate at a pace comfortable to them. A suggested uniform for this class is club kickboxing shorts t-shirt or Singlet and bare feet as long as you are comfortable and can move freely.
Boxing – Boxing is fantastic for improving fitness, strength & coordination. We cater for all levels, you can just for the fitness aspect of it or compete at a more serious level. The uniform is shorts and t shirt or singlet & bare feet or boxing boots.
Zenryoku Martial Arts – All classes start with a warm up & stretch. Zenryoku Martial Arts is a Mixed Martial Art this means along with the traditional movements, techniques and discipline practiced we combine a wide range of other arts together to give us a realistic and practical art for today’s lifestyle. Giving you the ability to deal with any situation you may find yourself in. Most students wear a Gi (Martial Arts Uniform). However you do not have to purchase these unless you choose to grade.
MMA ( Mixed Martial Arts) – This is one of the most popular combat sports in the world it combines all combat sports together including Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling and more. Before you do this class you need some experience in the other combat classes like Boxing, Kickboxing along with Submission Grappling. After gaining some experience in the other disciplines you can can join the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Uniform is T shirt/rash guard and shorts or skins, shoes are allowed if they are wrestling boots.
Cardio Kickboxing – Cardio kickboxing is based around what a Kick boxer or boxer would do to get fight fit without the hitting of each other. It is fun, easy to learn and excellent for weight loss, muscle toning and improving your fitness level. Cardio Kickboxing is fantastic fat burning class for anyone looking for a fun new way to exercise and looking to lose those extra few kg. The uniform for this class is the same as Kickboxing.
Cross Training Circuit – Cross training circuit is the ultimate way to take your fitness to the next level and will improve your weaknesses at the same time as developing your strengths.Cross training increases your performance levels in all areas without having to sacrifice one for the other.It combines all 10 standards of fitness, Cardio,Stamina,Strength,Agility,Flexibility,Power,Balance,Coordination,Speed and Accuracy. It is a form of training that develops a complete and balanced all round fitness.All circuits are for every fitness level, the beauty about this training method is that you go at your own pace. You aren’t relying on a partner or having someone rely on you. This reduces a lot of pressure for people who are at different fitness levels and want to train together or are just starting out. It gives you a goal to work towards in your own time while training in a group atmosphere which is supportive and motivating.It is great fun and a fantastic environment to bring the best out in every person training. Anyone can join in regardless of fitness levels.
Cardio Boxing -This is a partnered class where you will do a variety of Boxing & kick boxing pad drills they are easy to learn but you will work hard and burn plenty of calories during this class. So if you are looking to shed some extra kg’s whilst having a great time this is the perfect workout for you.
Fighting Fit - This class is exactly what it sounds you will get fighting fit in no time.The class is based around what a fighter would do to get fit minus the fighting its a combination of bag work, core training, functional exercises and some partner drills that are simple to learn . This class will improve your strength and stamina and is guaranteed to get you results no matter what your fitness level. Beginners are very welcome to join in.You don’t need any experience in boxing for this class they are very simple exercises to learn its is catered for the novice.
Jiu Jitsu & Submission grappling – Submission grappling & Jiu Jitsu are forms of wrestling were you learn to control your opponent with certain positions rather than striking it also teaches you a variety of submission which are commonly used in competition and can also be applied to self defense. It is fantastic for flexibility, strength & coordination. It is also low impact so its great to do as safe form of training.Jiu Jitsu is similar to Submission Grappling the main difference between the 2 are the uniforms in Jiu Jitsu you wear a Gi and belt, which can be grabbed in training or competition to control you opponent. You can also be graded in Jiu Jitsu. In submission Grappling you generally wear a rash guard and shorts.Allegiance Combat & Fitness Centre is affiliated with Nova União Jiu-Jitsu .
