Kick Boxing & Muay Thai

Kickboxing & Muay Thai are combat arts that uses punches,kicks, elbows and knee’s which are extremely powerful. They are very good disciplines to learn for self defense. The main difference between Kickboxing & Muay Thai is in Kickboxing you only use punches and kicks compared to Muay Thai where you also strike with elbows & knees. You are also allowed to grab your opponent to control them whilst you strike with your knee’s and other strikes.

Every kickboxing & Muay Thai class is designed to cater for the beginner & the competitive student. The class begins with strength, fitness & flexibility training. After that you will practice  footwork, boxing and kickboxing drills into focus mitts and Thai pads. Most classes are completed with sparring, which is an optional exercise.

As with all our classes safety is a top priority. We want you to have fun. These sports have a history of not being for the average person this is something we want to change. These classes have a good mix of males & females, this will ensure you will be partnered with someone you are comfortable with these classes cater for all levels of fitness and ability.

On the competition side of Kickboxing our fighters have won 7 titles between 5 instructors. Which is proof that what we teach our students is the real deal when it comes techniques learnt.
