ACFC has a sparring night open to all clubs on the this Friday 6.00pm. Disciplines include MMA, Boxing, Muay Thai & Submission Grappling. Spectators welcome $5, there will be a BBQ it is BYO meat. Participants will be matched according to weight and experience. These are sparring sessions designed to improve skills before students decide to compete for real. There is no Knockout rule on these nights and shin guards will be worn along with MMA training gloves and 16oz gloves & head gear for Boxing & Muay Thai.

Isaac Nolan had his 1st Mod Thai Kickboxing fight in Sydney recently unfortunately he was beaten on points but is a lot wiser for the experience and is keen to improve on his next performance in the ring.

We have 2 new 7.00am classes starting on Wed the 4th & Friday the 6th of May. The wed starts with boxing pad class this is a 30min class that’s easy to learn but high energy and a great workout for any fitness level. The Friday class is a circuit class designed to improve overall strength and conditioning its for all levels of strength again the exercises are easy to learn but a fantastic way to tighten those areas that need it. We hope to see you all there.

Sam “Sledge Hammer”Bastin wins his fight on April 2nd at Caloundra in QLD. Sam won his fight in the 1st round by referee stoppage. The fight didn’t last long standing as we new his opponent would want to take Sam down, in the clinch Sam got a good under hook against the cage and managed to turn his opponent and Sam got top position and from there finished the fight with several strikes leaving referee no choice but to stop the fight.

ACFC fighter Sam Bastin returns to the cage to fight in front of the local crowd. Sam is matched to fight a strong fighter Damien Callega form Ring Works International in Adelaide. This fight has the the potential to be the fight of the night with these 2 young fighters out to prove themselves. Both fighters have great stand up skills, Sam coming from a boxing background and Damien a great wrestling base with good boxing this is fight guaranteed to have it all.
